Backscatter Colour Filter System
The Backscatter Colour Filter System can be used for front lighting or backlighting to give a new look to familiar subjects. Combine the colour filter set with regular white light, or even with multiple colours. Add other objects in the background and light those secondary subjects for a new look.
Add a new dimension to your videos and photos with the Colour Filter System Kit. The Backscatter Colour Filter System is compatible with the Backscatter Mini Flash MF-1, Backscatter Macro Wide 4300 Video Light, and Backscatter Optical Snoot OS-1.
There are 2 separate colour filter sets, each with 6 colours.
The Backscatter Bold Filter Set contains bold and striking colours: Red, Blue, Purple, Green, Hot Pink, and Dark Amber. These colours are super saturated and are great for adding a strong statement to photos and videos.
The Backscatter Pastel Filter Set contains lighter shades and more subtle colours: Lavender, Light Blue, Light Green, Pink, Yellow, and Turquoise. These lighter colours are less saturated and blend better in high key style shots with a brighter background or to add a more subtle effect.
The colour filter sets are “Swiss Army” style, with 2 protective covers on the front and back. Each colour can be individually rotated out for use without having to fumble with multiple loose filters on a dive. There is a metal mounting ring that can take a double-ender clip for convenient clipping off to a D-ring on a BC when not in use.
To attach the colour filter set to the light or snoot, use the filter holder. The filter holder is the same for the Backscatter Mini Flash MF-1 and the Backscatter Macro Wide 4300 Video Light. There is a separate colour filter holder for the Backscatter Optical Snoot OS-1.
