Description
SeaFrogs Camera Lanyard
The SeaFrogs Camera Lanyard measures at 50mm, giving you a good general grip of your camera set up. The boat crew will be able to had over your rigged up camera set with ease without dropping it.
The lanyard is typically attached to both ends of the camera handle T-bar, with a stainless steel horseshoe-buckle. A paracord is then woven through it, and giving you a good grip when holding onto it.
Since it’s woven with paracord, it’s light weight, and strong. Able to withstand the weight brought on by the camera rig. Dries quickly as well, this camera lanyard is a great accessory to add on!
Key Features of a paracord:
- Strength and Durability:
Paracord is known for its incredible strength. It’s made of nylon and can typically hold up to 550 pounds (hence the “550” rating), making it ideal for securing a camera while ensuring it remains safe, even in tough conditions like underwater environments.
-
Comfort and Grip:
Paracord straps can be braided in a way that enhances comfort, allowing for a more secure and ergonomic grip on the camera. The texture of the cord helps prevent slipping, making it easier to hold onto the camera, even with wet hands or gloves.
-
Customisation:
Paracord can be customised with different colours, patterns, and designs. This allows users to personalise their camera strap, making it both functional and visually appealing.
-
Lightweight:
Despite its strength, paracord is lightweight, so it won’t weigh down the camera or the user, making it ideal for underwater activities where you want to minimise extra weight or bulk.
-
Water Resistance:
Paracord is water-resistant and dries quickly, making it a perfect material for underwater use. It won’t absorb water, which is important when diving or shooting in wet conditions, preventing the strap from becoming heavy or soggy.
