The IST K05 TITANIUM is light weight and build to resist the corrosion of the hash water of the sea.
• Titanium dive knife for maximum corrosion resistance with lightest weight
• 4mm thick, single tang design for strength and durability
• Includes smooth edge, serrated edge and cutting notch
• Contoured handle for strong grip, thumb guard adds safety and leverage
• Case with quick release tab for one-handed operation and rubber knife straps included
Titanium is more brittle than steel, will not be good for prying or anything that will put sheer force on the blade. It also does not keep an edge as well as steel and will need to be sharpened more often.
Although more corrosion resistance, it is still a must to keep the blade cleaned to pre-long it’s lifespan.
