Description
Apollo Bio Regulator A320
Apollo’s bio-regulator series is committed to comfortable breathing under all conditions and achieves stable performance through thorough quality control. Equipped with a bio-air system (BAS) that enables more natural breathing underwater without being affected by changes in depth or residual pressure in the tank.
Regulator first stage construction
Forged machined body with high strength and precision
The body and yoke use forged basic materials. High-strength parts with no variations due to forging are further cut and manufactured.
Stable air supply with double diaphragm dry chamber
The 1st stage adopts an airtight double diaphragm system . Due to the dry chamber structure that does not flood inside, there is little deterioration of parts and the initial performance is maintained. It is also easier to maintain.
It also prevents internal freezing even in cold regions and supplies stable air under all conditions.
This 1st stage is EN250 CE certified and is also used as a pure oxygen regulator for rebreathers.
Equipped with a strong, high-performance HP Seat
The HP seat, which can be said to be the heart of the regulator 1st stage, is equipped with a tough and high-performance Bio 360 (Sanrokumaru).
Its high performance is demonstrated in any environment, and it far exceeds the conventional standard of 3 million breaths and about 3000 dives. *
Main parts are engraved and thorough quality control provides stable performance.
*Actual test value from in-house bench test
Bucket type dust filter
The a-320’s yoke-type 1st stage uses a cone-shaped bucket-type dust filter.
By using a stainless steel mesh filter with a surface area five times larger than the conventional filter for the dust removal filter in the high-pressure part, which is highly dense and susceptible to resistance, flow restrictions and pressure loss in this area are kept to a minimum. .
The 1st stage filter only has a dust removal function and cannot completely remove oil odours in the tank.
Regulator second stage construction
Equipped with a bio-air system for comfortable breathing
The special structure ” bio-air system ” inside the 2nd stage supplies air directly to the mouth. It senses a slight change in pressure and releases the valve, delivering comfortable breathing without discomfort. Insensitive to depth changes and tank pressure.
The mouthpiece is relatively small and has a small diameter, which reduces jaw fatigue even during long dives.
Comes standard with a ball joint LP hose that reduces jaw fatigue.
The LP hose comes standard with the well-established ball joint LP hose .
A ball joint is used for the connection with the LP hose, and tension from the hose can be released, reducing jaw fatigue during diving.
In addition, an optimised design using high-strength materials has achieved a wide deflection angle of 39 degrees.
In addition, by adopting fluorine resin for the material of the ball receiver, it offers light operation even when air pressure is applied.
Super water-repellent plating treatment is applied to improve operating performance
The metal parts that are the main movable parts of the 2nd stage are treated with super water-repellent plating.
As a result, to prevent adhesion of seawater that causes salt deposits, operating performance is greatly improved and stable performance is exhibited even in cold regions.
